Michel, Thank you for the help last time. I just sent an email for help in port forwarding. Thanks!
-
Ok, I have called in to get help. Now I will wait for the call. Anyway, I was trying to port forward on this new Netgear router and I jacked isy all up. Now I can not even log on to isy nor does it show up on the router... I think.

Will do. Thank you!

Ok... let say someone tried some of this and now they can't get into ISY... That sux!

Did you change both the ports? You should be able to access by appending the port number to the URL: http://my.isy.add.ress:port# Rand That's what I thought. I tried this, but I kept getting an error. I went a head and factory reset. This whole port forwarding kicks my a$$!

I changed the ports in isy to try to port forward. I did something wrong. I can not get in.

It seems that I did something wrong... If my local isy IP does not work anymore, how do I find out if the local isy IP has changed?

Why not just have a INSTEON Motion Sensor Floodlight Kit to turn on the lights for you when it sees you?

From 06 to 13 with no problems.

I here you! Sounds like it is time to get creative...

brad77 BlueKey is the closest thing I know of for Bluetooth control. I am not ready to spend this much for what I am looking for yet. http://www.smarthome.com/43210/BlueKey- ... V01/p.aspx Bluetooth is growing and know that WiFi is coming out with WiFi Direct... there is no telling of what types of programs will be next. I just thought there was something simple. I will keep searching to find what I am lookng for. Thanks! Lee

How should I say this...? Is there a product that can be attached to my car/ truck and the receiver in the garage that can be recognized by ISY when I am in range of my house? I have read about someone’s system, which I believe he has HAL, which can recognize when he arrives at home. Then it runs different programs based on what cars are in the garage. Lee

When you say "Older KPL's", just how old or what versions are you talking about? Lee

Thanks Rand! I re-synced the AP 1 and 2. BUT, I am still having trouble. It sounds just like some of posts that I have been reading about communication issues... I am going to try to get my AP closer to the breaker first and then try to figur out what is causing the issues.

Yes, I have two access points. My house is about 5 years old and only about 2000sqft. I only have about 15 to 20 pcs of Insteon products. I moved it last night to the livingroom. When I did this, I put an access point on top of the PLM. I did not have much time to try this new setup out, but what time I did try it... It looks like I am still having issuses. I will look at the link that you added above and spend a few hours with it tonight.

Sub-Routine, Thanks! for the reply. I have not had a chance to do this yet, but as soon as I get home, I will try. I have two more toggle dimmers to install too. I plan to move the ISY to my TV shelf because of this issue. I have it plugged into a power strip and I think this is my problem. I will let you know how it goes... Thanks again!

I have tried to program a timer. If the load for a KPL is pushed ON then it should switch off after 10mins. It does not... If I turn it on with ISY, then it after the time set, it turns off in ISY. BUT, the light that the KPL controls, did not turn off. Please help...
