  1. I put in a ticket and the suggestion was to remove and reinstall the Yolink plug in. It was in slot 8, and I reinstalled it in slot 8. Is solved my issue as it recognized my purchase of 1.27 and reinstalled running that version.
  2. I have been successfully using EISY since its introduction and last spring added Yolink to my Polyglot, at that time to introduce their key fob. Worked without issue. Fast forward to yesterday. My Yolink setup has expanded considerably, but I had never felt a need to integrate any of that into EISY, so never checked the nodes or anything. Last night I decided to do that and saw that only my initial nodes were in existence, and also saw that there was an upgrade for purchase. I purchased the upgrade, it shows as purchased, but when I try and install it, nothing happens. I still show as running the old version, not the upgraded version. My credentials have not changed are still match up between those previously entered into the prior Yolink version in the configuration tab. Checking in the Yolink portion of PG3 does show my additional yolink devices. However, I do not see the new devices in EISY. Auto discover hasn't helped and I suspect I need to be running the upgraded version of the Yolink plug in and that's why. Not sure what my next steps are. Have restarted, rebooted and done all that, with no avail.
  3. Thanks..That is my choice for replacement leak detection if and when I get there. The rest of my CAO system I will keep..though I am increasingly using Yolink where it makes sense.
  4. I use wireless tag as my primary leak reporting sensor network ( 6 locations). Twice now in the past several weeks I have had events where all my wireless tag sensors report a leak simultaneously - and of course the water valve indeed turns the water off. Anyone else encounter this? Appears to perhaps be some kind of issue with the wireless tag manager. I guess I can just program around it, but it makes me rethink my continued use of wireless tag for this function.
  5. Fantastic. The sensor itself offers incredible possibilities, unmatched by mere motion sensors. I plan to explore this along with you. Question? In use how is the device latency? At the price, it is much cheaper than many motion sensors, but latency might be a key concern.
  6. My other option would be to wait until I have my Pi5 up and running and install (hopefully,) windows 11 on that - then see if I can get the AC to run on that OS..which as I understand it is ARM based.
  7. Recently I have experimenting with using a Pi based computer as a light duty general purpose computing platform. Obviously what I run is not app based, but usually cloud based ( like Microsoft 365, for example). For email and other light duty tasks it seems to be satisfactory. It may be a bridge too far, but I was curious whether there is a way to run the UD Administrative Console on a Pi. Currently I have a Pi 4 doing the work but plan on a Pi 5 based system with NVMe, so eventually it will be a little beefier.
  8. Thanks Geddy. wasn't exactly sure if the post was appropriate, but it seemed to fit into the other postings on similar issues directly above. UD supports its products so well, I am not even sure HA has something similar (or could) butI did not mean to signal an expectation that UD would support non-UD devices. Sorry.
  9. I received my HA Green to play with (still a little uncertain what I want/expect from it) and in short order I had forgotten my log in. I experimented with common usernames and passwords, without success, and was kicking myself for not writing it down. Now, after only a few days since the original install, I cannot even get the login screen. I have verified the network address is correct but when I select the server it just times out and gives an error message 8. I see others are having problems with their HA coming online. Related? or did my repeated failed log in efforts brick the HA Green? I have not made any changes to anything with the Green, just looked around, so I have nothing to lose here...ideas? (Brickbats for being stupid are ok too). Chris
  10. All super interesting. Enough to make add HA to my mix. Should be a fun ride. Me? I am doing it for the GUI possibilities.
  11. As I look at this a little closer, a couple things come to mind. First, the "policy" you reference makes sense to me. Second, I have online access to their stations dashboards anyway. (Seems to run contrary to policy?) Third. I am liking their product(s) and might seriously consider adding one. That said, I realize you are a node developer and not responsible for either 1 or 2. Or 3. Thanks for all your great work. Chris Have you ever considered writing a node for lacrosse weather stations. They have web access and a fairly deep market penetration. Sort of a "poor man's" Ambient Weather.
  12. I would agree that the Device Dashboard can seen daunting, but careful dividing items into folder categories can be a big help. Instead of 100 devices you might have a dozen categories which can be expanded as needed. Or not.
  13. MrBill has been a valued resource, for sure. I would recommend you take specific HA questions to the Home Assistant forum here under Third Party Products. Folks here are happy to share and help! Also stay here and share a little about you and how you got here!
  14. My program looks something like this: IF Time is 12:20 AM (I have a bunch of things that happen around midnight so I decided to let things settle down) AND 'Time Data Ephemeris is / Time Data' Day of Month is 1 Day (In other words, the 1st. This is right in the drop downs in the programming tab) THEN: Whatever it is you want to accomplish on the wee hours of the 1st of the month. The program will only run at 12:20 on the 1st of any given month.
  15. I set up a real simple program using The TimeData node server in PG3x. I do a schedule in IF sometime just after midnight, with an AND IF which asks if (from TimeData) day of the month equals 1st If it runs, it ensconces my previous monthly total into a separate variable register, and cleans everything else to zero to start over. Super clean and easy. I knew TimeData would come in handy.
