I checked the teenagers iPhones when they finally got out of bed. They are using GET and I copy the URL's from the portal and text it to their phones and past into Locative. Have you considered using UDMobile instead of Locative? I don't use iPhone, but I've seen good feedback from iPhone users on the forums. Locative works fine on the kids iPhones, so I've never pursued it.

If your seeing the PIN request, I think you are using the old nodeserver that required a depreciated app. Make sure you're using Occupancy 2.0.

To debug, use the occupancy portal URL's in a browser to manually report in/out if that works you know the issue is with Locative, if it does not then you know it's the portal/nodeserver configuration. My occupancy 2.0 nodes show in the AC with a motion sensor icon. P.S. I just rebooted after the disabled programs update and wanted to highlight another feature of using the Occupancy 2.0 nodeserver. Geofence status is held on the portal, so my run on reboot program queries the nodes and gets correct geofence status for all phones. So, in addition to handling the logic for anyone home and all away, it gets accurate current status on reboots.

On is inside geofence, Off is outside. Using UDmobile configure the Occupancy 2.0 nodes to on for entering geofence and off for exit. For Locative click on the blue box/arrow for each device in the portal to get the URL's for report in/out and use those to configure Locative. Wife and I use Android and kids iPhones and it all plays well together.

@Chris Jahn also posted an interesting technique for keeping track of disabled programs, run at startup, etc. My Polisy did perform the OS update, I updated early after the release because I was having an Admin Console issue and support suggested the update. I had to use my text backup file of programs to determine enabled/disabled status and it was very time consuming. I'm going to adopt one of the techniques so I never have to go through that again.

I had the opposite problem on Polisy, all my programs were enabled. Fortunately, I had a text copy of programs to reference. I will use naming nomenclature for disabled programs to avoid this mess in the future.

OK, now I see how to add phones to V2.0 w/o using the old app and pin. Now I can set it up like before with UDMobile directly setting the node status and Locative for the iPhones. Thanks, Mike

If I understand correctly the version 2 only works via an obsolete app. I'm using the Occupancy server which allows updates via https://my.isy.io/api/location/key/report/in or out. However, after the new installation on IoX the nodes seem to be read only even from AC. See below.

Hi @Javi, I just finished migrating from ISY to IOP and need to reconfigure occupancy. I was using UDMobile to directly set the occupancy nodeserver node status based on geofence. I'm not sure what changed, but now occupancy nodes seem to be read only from IoX and UDMobile. I would like to continue to use the occupancy nodeserver for multiple reasons. It handles "all away" and "anyone home" logic, all my programming is set up to use it and the kids iPhones are using locative and it works. My wife and I are on Android using UDMobile and I know I could set the kids up on UDMobile with restrictions, but locative just works and I'd prefer to just leave it as is. I thought of setting up a network resource for UDMobile to trigger https://my.isy.io/api/location/key/report/in or out based on geofence, but I can't seem to get the network resource to work. I tried to follow your notification Wiki example, without success. Could you please show me the proper network resource configuration? I know this adds another network operation, but can't think of another way using the occupancy nodeserver. If you have a more elegant solution, I'm all ears. Any update? I was ready to migrate from ISY to IOP, but decided to hold off because I'm mostly Z-Wave.

@JaviI've been running on two Pixel phones for a few days now and it's working great. I did not enable UD Mobile Location Services or change polling. Both phones do have a car insurance app running that may help to keep location services updated and both phones were previously using Google assistant geofences. I turned off the integration with UD, but did not disable the Google assistant geofence. Two kids are using iPhones with Locative, so I just set occupancy node status from UD Mobile on the Pixel's and let the node server handle the logic. I'll probably leave it that way since it's working. In the future if UD Mobile gets the ability to restrict access, I may put UD Mobile on their iPhones. I could just tell them never to mess with UD Mobile and they wouldn't, but I'm hesitant to set them up with full access just for general security reasons. As part of troubleshooting, I removed the batteries from the old remotes and motion sensors. The only X-10 modules remaining are two hardwired switches.

I think it's the recently installed smart electric meter, I can't find any other cause and it seems to have started when the electric company installed the smart meter. I guess the only fix is to remove the PLM and only use Z-Wave.

I noticed my ISY TX/RX light blinking constantly and checked the event log to find multiple X10 status requests per second (see below). Any idea what could be causing this? I only have a couple of X10 hardwired switches remaining in my configuration since I've almost fully migrated to Z-Wave. I switched the little slider switch off on those, but I'm not sure if that fully removes power. I've never used house code J. I assume it's something generating noise that's interpreted as a X10 status request, but no idea what it could be. I have five iBlinds, four in one room and one in another. To get around the popcorn effect, I open and close in what I call a cascade effect. I have found if you wait six seconds between commands the next blind starts it action about the time the previous one finishes. All of mine are battery operated and I charge about every 3-4 months. FYI, if you let the battery get too low it will fall off the Z-Wave network and must be included again. Using the Sun nodeserver I'm able to open/close based on sun angle and elevation w/o any seasonal adjustments. Mine are the original version w/o any manual control. If I ever sell my house I guess I'll leave the ISY behind, otherwise there would be no way to operate the blinds. Hopefully by then everything will be running on Polisy and I would take it with me.

@Michel Kohanim Thank you so much, many have it much worse. We have had enough intermittent power to keep the house relatively warm, many haven't had power for days. Our natural gas supply has not failed as it has for some. We continue to have water at low pressure, while many have had no water for days. Even with dripping taps, we had some slushy pipes a couple of days, but no busted pipes. In this area outside Austin, houses are not built for this type of weather, water lines are not buried deep and lots of of uninsulated plumbing running through the attics. This area usually gets a couple of light freezes per year and we had nine days in a row below freezing with two nights in single digits. Power has been up all night and morning, so I powered up the Polisy and did reset/update using the reset button on the box and that seems to have fixed it. I hadn't updated Polisy in a while so maybe when the power started initially having problems and the UPS failed it might have been trying to do updates. Thanks

Several power outages a day for the last several days are taking a toll on my home automation. See one example day in the attached screenshot. A while ago State Farm home insurance provided a free Ting monitor https://www.tingfire.com/ primarily to monitor for arcs that can cause fires, but it's a nice power monitor too. The little UPS I got from Talentcell to power my ISY and Polisy failed and no longer supplies power w/o AC power. The battery indicator shows fully charged. One of the downsides of the unit was soldered batteries that cannot be replaced. On the positive side, Talentcell customer service responded quickly and is sending a replacement unit. An older GE Z-Wave switch that controls the main kitchen lights failed in an unexpected way, it cannot be manually operated. If sent a Z-Wave on it will chatter until sent an off. All my other Z-Wave switches and dimmers work fine manually, mostly Homeseer. Since it was controlling critical lighting, I replaced it with a manual switch for now. Perhaps also related, I can no longer connect to my Polisy with http. It answers ping at its reserved IP address and I can SSH to it and the nodeservers appear to work. After things settle down, I'll open a ticket as it seems other folks have needed UDI remote support to correct that problem. Currently I'm leaving the Polisy powered down and only power up the ISY in the morning and evening to open/close my blinds. I knew this might be an issue with the iBlinds not having manual control when I bought them. I think the new model has manual control, but for the price I installed them knowing the lack of manual control. So Murphy is alive and well with my most critical lighting failing in a way I never considered. I'll probably replace the switch with a Homeseer and maybe order a spare too and do some testing on the GE switch later. Too much going on now with water pressure getting low and boil water in place, I've got enough on my plate right now. I've had about enough of generational pandemic and weather events.

I'm not sure about GE, but for Homeseer dimmers the scene nodes are for detecting multitap up/down. Might be the same for GE.

I'm seeing some formatting issues on my MotoX4 Android One running Android 9. Can't see the full backup message (attached). Other than that minor issue the app works well. Also wondering about the backup file, do I need to manually save the file somewhere off my phone, or will it be picked up by the normal Google backup process? Thanks

Same for me, my old not + Kwikset works great on 5.3.1. I delayed the card and firmware upgrade because I was worried about the lock, but it worked out fine including user codes.

In previous versions I could determine the current value of a Z-Wave configuration parameter. I can't seem to do that in 5.3.1, can it be done? I finally took the plunge since I had some time today and upgraded my Z-Wave board and ISY firmware. I was hesitant because of my older Kwikset lock, but no major issues have been discovered. Lock reports user codes and no problems with Z-Wave plug status as others have experienced, however mine are fairly new and Z-Wave plus. Thanks UDI and Merry Christmas

Hi @Javi, can you please explain the UDI Mobile roadmap? Will UD Mobile and Go2ISY be merged or remain separate? I have tested UD Mobile and it works well, although I haven't done a lot of customization since customizations may not be saved per your reply in this thread. I only know what I see in the forum about Go2ISY and it's not clear to me what the difference is. Thanks
