Posted March 28, 200817 yr Is there a way to interact with ISY-99i with a non Java computer like a Nokia N800. I also have a really old windows CE tablet PC. Chin-Sieh
March 28, 200817 yr You can access the ISY through its HTML interface from the Nokia N800's web browser. As for Java on the N800, check out Jalimo. We have a front-end for the ISY coming out shortly specifically written for the Nokia N800. Check out the link in my sig.
March 28, 200817 yr Author Hi, thanks for the reply. That's a great use for N800. I've read about the HTML interface mentioned but I have no idea how to use it. What's the URL to get to it?
March 28, 200817 yr You can use the IP address of the ISY. Make sure you are running the latest firmware (beta 2.6.3).
March 30, 200817 yr Is this true for the ISY-99 as well? Or do we have to wait for an update from 1.0? I have a PocketPC that I use quite frequently, and it would be very handy at times to be able to pull up an interface with that.
April 10, 200817 yr When I try to get to the ISY99 from my Pocket PC (TMobile Wing -- Windows Mobile 6.0), i get: HTTP ERROR:$CODE$ RequestURI=/ My ISY99 says that it is version v1.0.0. I don't have the option to automatically update the FW to the reference 2.6.3
