Monitor Tempurature

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was wondering if there were any devices that would allow me to monitor the temperature in a room and see that temperature through Mobilink or any other app to control the ISY from my iPhone.

Would this work? http://www.smarthome.com/24950A7/I-O-Li ... Kit/p.aspx

It says it is for activating scenes or doing actions when the temperature reaches a high or low, but will it show me the temperature on my iPhone? I could just set it to not do anything on highs or lows.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

But how could I hook up a thermostat without thermostat hook ups?

Well, duh! Thank you!

I got the wireless addon thermostat and added it to the ISY with no issues. It is reporting the tempurature in the location it is in. However, how can I make it show its temp on the main thermostat's screen. I read there is a way, but that is without using the ISY.

Thank you again!

That is the way. The ISY does not support setting many configuration options that are set through the thermostat itself.

If I leave it set up through the ISY and set it up directly through both thermostats, will everything still work properly? Only one way to find out...
