jblackst5000 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I just purchased the Weatherbug module and am trying to display the current temperature on my Elk Keypad. I just recently upgraded from an ISY99i/ir to an ISY994i/ir. I also have the Elk module. Below is the custom notification I want sent to my key pad. Outside Temp:${mod.weather.temp.current} Here is the program to send it to the keypad. IF From: 1:00AM For: 24 hours Then Repeat every 5 minutes Set Elk area 'Blackston' Display text on keypads, Content 'Elk - Weather' Else No action Please disregard this post. I finally got it to work. Since I told it to start at 1:00 A.M. and repeat for 24 hrs it had to get to 1:00AM before it would work. Does anyone see what I am doing wrong. Sorry, I do not know how to copy and paste an image of my program in this message. I tried to do a print screen of my program but it would not paste into this format. If someone knows how to do that please let me know. Thanks so much for your help.
Chris Jahn Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Sorry, I do not know how to copy and paste an image of my program in this message. Happy to see you got your Keypad messaging program working. As for copying a program, under the Programs tab in the Admin Console just right click on the program in the program tree, and select "Copy to Clipboard". You can then paste it into your forum post.
jblackst5000 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Posted March 8, 2013 Thanks Chris, I appreciate showing me how to copy and paste a program into my text on this forum. This will definitely help me the next time I have a question. Thanks Again,
apostolakisl Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Programs like that can be "jump started" by right clicking and hitting "run then". No need to wait to 1am!
