2486D can not command buttons in Programs

Hi Folks,

I have a couple of 2486D's that I am trying to command in Programs to turn off after a delay. The 2486S works fine, but the 2486D's do not have an option to set them to zero or turn them off. The only options I am given are to set the LED brightness levels.

My ISY994 is at firmware version 3.3.10 and my keypads are v .41

Here is an example of what I mean. In the bottom right Action area, I can only set the device to various backlight levels, but not actually turn it OFF.

Any ideas?

Thanks !

Rick

A Secondary KeypadLinc button cannot be controlled with Insteon Direct commands. Direct commands have no means for indicating which Secondary button to control.

Assign the KeypadLinc Secondary button to an ISY Scene as a Responder. Turn the ISY Scene On/Off to turn the Secondary button On/Off.

Note: I just verified that a Relay KeypadLinc does present On/Off options for Secondary KPL buttons. These will not work. As indicated above, Insteon Direct commands cannot identify specific KeypadLinc Secondary buttons. When an Action statement is coded in a Program to turn a Relay Secondary button On/Off no actual Insteon command is issued. This is a UI issue which UDI will have to address.
