jag911 Posted June 15, 2013 Author Share Posted June 15, 2013 So it's been roughly 24 hours since the installation of a wireless access point device directly in front of the Thermostat and I've not lost communication once. It would seem there is something to the theory about a "directional" antenna in the 2441TH model. Thanks to everyone for their input and assistance. Xathros Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Xathros... though it seems to be working after adding the LL directly in front of the thermostat, i still have a record mismatch. So I may end up deleting and re-adding it to get it sync'd again and see if it stays. For now I want to see if i can get through a full day of use without issue before making any more changes. Al LeeG mentioned up above, that mismatch is not really a mismatch. The new I2CS protocol is using that one byte (EA vs E2) as a flag and the ISY isn't ignoring that difference. It's only a mismatch now because the Stat is in Cool mode rather than Off like it was when you last added it to the ISY.
