MobiLinc and iOS 7

I have been testing MobiLinc on my iPhone 5 with iOS 7 (now Beta 2)

Everything works pretty well expect all the dialogues that allow you to enter information. For example when trying to update a variable or create a new geo-fence you just get the header with the OK and Cancel buttons but no place to actually enter a value, which makes is useless.

I wonder if Apple changed something with their dialogue boxes with iOS7

Would be nice to see a quick fix for that so we can use the geofence feature again...

Hi Sagig,

We've got this fixed internally. It's unclear if this is an iOS7 bug or something we did that's no longer compatible with iOS 7. Sometimes it's difficult to tell with very early beta releases. In either case we found a workaround that works on iOS5-7 that we're testing internally. If all goes well, we'll be submitting to Apple next week for approval.

We anticipate many more iOS 7 beta releases from Apple between now and the official release. Any one of these could introduce new issues to track down. Please let us know what you find by directly emailing us at support@mobilinc.com. This will be the fastest way we can detect and react to changes you (and other's) identify as the forums are not always strictly monitored.

Thanks for the update Wes.

Can't wait for the update. will be gladly test and let you know if I find other issues.

Don't know what I would have done without MobiLinc. I love this app!

Hi Sagig,

We released the updated yesterday afternoon that addresses the current iOS7 Beta 2 issues with the input boxes. Update at your convenience and let us know at: support@mobilinc.com if you see anything else with iOS7 betas and MobiLinc.

Thanks for testing and letting us know about these issues as they pop up.

Thanks Wes.

So far so good. updated and everything seems to work well now. I tried synchronizing, setting up location based updates, notifications, and vars. everything seems to be working fine.

Great job guys!
