Java errors when attempting to load admin console on OS X

Trying to get the Java Admin console to load on my OS X 10.8.4 box, and running into this:

ISY994 Administrative Console quit unexpectedly while using the libjvm.dylib plug-in.

This is the Java version my web plugin is using:

$ /Library/Internet\ Plug-ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java -version
java version "1.7.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode)

Any thoughts? This seems to work fine on another OS X box with the same version of OSX and JRE...

Hi billchurch,

Please do make sure you do NOT have any other versions of Java (especially 1.6) concurrently installed.

With kind regards,

Michel

I'm running into this as well.  I literally just the other day ran the admin console (because my PowerLinc died) and now I'm replacing it and I get this error.  I've got the 1.7.0_60 version of Java.  Anybody know how to go back to 1.6?

Hello pmarcos,

Please do make sure that:

1. You have cleared all your Java cache

2. You use http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.2.5/admin.jnlp to get to ISY

3. Upgrade to 4.2.5

If you are still having problems, please do not hesitate to contact our tech support (links below).

With kind regards,

Michel
