Using Variables in Network resources

I am spinning my tires on this one I would appreciate some insight if anyone can help.

I am controlling my Nuvo home audio using network resources and a Global Cache GC100 but in order to adjust the volume I need to be able to pull a value from a webpage.

I want to be able to set the volume from 0-79. I can get the value into a variable using REST, but can not find out how I can get that variable into the body of the Network Resource Editor.

In summary I want to be able to click on a variable on a webpage and execute a TCP command of *Z1VOL\r\n.

If this isn't possible are there any other options I could explore?

With 16 zones and 79 volume setting it would be overwhelming to enter in each one manually.

Thanks all for any ideas !

Hello rickbase1,

Unfortunately you cannot do that at the moment but this is something we are actively working on.

With kind regards,

Michel
