Hi,

 

I just set up a bunch of new Insteon switches in my new house. Is there a way to tell the ISY to auto-detect all devices and add them so I only have to rename them and not add them one at a time?

Not that I am aware.

 

However, I don't find it overly burdensome to simply put the ISY into linking mode, then, simply, do the same for each new device. One does not have to return to the ISY after each new device is added.

As long as all of the devices being added are put into linking mode within the 4 minute window that the ISY remains in linking mode.
