IS994i - I/O Linc Garage issue

Hello I am new to the ISY device and to this forum. My issue is with the IOlinc status.

Here is some background information on my system

ISY994i

2 - I/O Linc set up as garage door openers

Insteon Hub

The issue I am having is the Current State is never constant IOLinc 1 is showing ON and IOLinc 2 is showing OFF but both doors are physically closed. The Insteon HUB shows the 2 sensors as closed and is always constant. When I manually run the "Query All" program the State for both show ON

Both have Identical options

Momentary B

everything else off

The ISY has no understanding of a Hub. Linking the I/O Lincs to the Hub with the Set button will make the ISY links information invalid. Delete and add the I/O Lincs back using the 'erase existing links' option.

Thanks LeeG,

Is there any way i could still use the hub to control the IOlinc I like the GUI in the IOS while still having the IOlinc used with the ISY for programs

Using the HUB and the ISY994i to both control the same Insteon Modules. Will result in messed up Link Databases. As LeeG pointed out.

Same thing happens if someone used the Free HouseLinc Program with it own PLM and an ISY994i; with the same Insteon Modules. Messed up Link Databases.

I doubt you can use both a Hub and ISY994i. Having both work correctly.

Is the HUB X10 capable? If so, you could have the HUB issue X10 commands and the ISY react to them.

Just a thought.
