drw Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Recently I had an extended power fail. The power was off for about 8 hours. After the power was restored I discovered that the time was behind actual time about 2 hours. I assume there is a battery keeping the clock running. Is there something wrong with my ISY? It is only about 5 months old. My experience with computers is that the CMOS battery will support the clock for a very long time (months at least).
Michel Kohanim Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 drw, There's a capacitor which keeps the clock running for 6 hours. As such, there's nothing wrong with your ISY.
