Unable To Communicate With ISY-994

My ISY-994 is no longer available with the isy/admin command. I get an admin console when I enter www.universal-devices/99/ but no devices or programs are displayed. The only heading displayed is files. Restore does not present a restore file option. I have powered down, reset and changed CAT5 cables several times with no improvement. Is the ISY-994 now defective? When I do a reset the lights appear to blink normally as it reboots. I am not using a static address for the ISY.

Are you trying this while at home? Static IP should not matter in this case.

I remain unclear how all this plays together, but I recall such problems are often associated wih java or antivirus. Perhaps you could dig a lttle deeper into these areas? Clear java cache? Amtivirus blocking access? They oftern bring up avast antivirus as a common problem.

Has anything changed in these areas?

When Java attempts to access the ISY I get the following messages in Java:

Anyone know where the insteon.jar file comes from? It looks like it should be on the Universal Devices web site. I'm using Java version 7 update 45, 64-bit Windows 7.

I located the insteon.jar file on the Universal Devices web site and I can extract it after downloading. But in which folder of my desktop should it reside or is supposed to download and extract whenever I attempt to log onto the ISY by using http://www.universal-devices.com/991/? By the way, the ISY is functioning fine and is running the current program. But I cannot log onto it to control my programs and devices so I need help in resolving what appears to be a Java related issue with the insteon.jar file.
