Dear fellow forum members,

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience!

Thankfully we do have a work-around:

After downloading the appropriate 2.6.5 update file (for either ISY-26 or ISY-99i), please ensure that your Administrative Console is closed, and then open the console by going to the following link: http://www.universal-devices.com/27.

Ignore (dismiss) any Request Failed messages, go to the Help menu, choose Manually Upgrade My Lighting, and select the update file you just downloaded.

The 2.6.5 update should be successfully installed.

Good Update.

I see some screen enhancements - subtle but attractive.

I like other enhancements - next schedule event time.

I am still reviewing all of the other screens,

One question - Any idea when the next Sun Java update for Mac will come? We need sorting capability on the program summary screen.

Keep up the good work!

- Added viewport, format-detection meta tags to HTML

Don't see them!

Anyone can confirm this? No change in mobile safari page rendering and no sign of viewport in HTML code.

I noted that the local access address changed with the update. Was

http://192.168.1.105:60333/0/p

now its

http://192.168.1.105

also it started asking for the userid when the IE window opens and again when the admin console opens.

The www.universal-devices\99i address no longer works at all getting a socket open failed in java.net

The www.universal-devices\27 address results in all kind of errors

now my userid and password is no longer recognized at all.

How do I go back so I can actually use the ISY again?

jcthorne,

Yes, the local address will change with the update from 1.0 to 2.6.1+ ... please make sure you clear your Java cache and try:

http://www.universal-devices.com/27 (99i is for 1.0 release)

For security reasons, you cannot get to ISY's home page without first logging in.

With kind regards,

Michel

ISY-99 IR Pro does not updgrade. I followed you sequence, and when I get to the favicon.ico, it fails and says Upgrade Failed: Invalid Length.

Michel, I did that as well. It did not help.

The strange thing, I was worried that the upgrade might have hosed the ISY. So I downloaded 2.6.4 again and tried to update it. I got the same error at the same time.

The last thing I tried was to clear out the temp files of Firefox. Then I cleared the Java cache. And tried it again.

I even tried clearing out Java and Firefox and using IE7 instead. Still no luck.

Hi clark21236,

This is sounding more and more like a firewall issue. Have you changed your firewall software since? What firewall software do you have?

With kind regards,

Michel

My home computer only uses the Windows firewall, nothing else.

When you use the http://www.universal-devices.com/27 does it do anything different than when you access the system internally?

Also, does it make any difference if the device has a static IP address?

I can try the update from my laptop if you think that makes a difference. It is using NOD32 Smart Security.

Hello clark21236,

That's very strange!

The http://www.universal-devices.com/27'>http://www.universal-devices.com/27 basically uses the applet from our website rather than the applet from ISY.

Please do try your laptop but I am sure you are going to have more problems with your laptop because of NOD32.

One more option is: when you clear your Java cache, please make sure ALL OTHER browser windows are closed (both IE/Firefox).

With kind regards,

Michel
