ngeren
I threw together a continuous voice/speech recognition controller/trigger for my Insteon set up last summer using the ISY, Mac Mini, Arduino, Easy VR shield, and a custom intercom system. Recognition is pretty decent up to 8-9ft away depending on your volume level. I could get it to detect words with half-assed accuracy when yelling up to about 15 ft. I've posted a demonstration on my Youtube channel @ . Let me know if you have any questions. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi ngeren, This is very cool! Thanks so very much for sharing. The main question is whether or not this could become a standalone solution to purchase/use? With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
ngeren
Thanks and you're welcome! I had thought about creating a device that would easily integrate into the ISY/Insteon eco-system, and launching a crowd funding campaign for it, but I've been busy working on other projects. I do have some of the test boards and notes lying around. Link to comment
