Program Folder Problem

The programs in the folder are running without the constraint set for the folder, i.e., when button g is pressed on the KPL. Am I missing something?

If the folder condition is false, programs within the folder will not self-initiate. They can, however, be called from other programs outside the folder.

Click once on the folder in the tree - the conditions will appear in the IF section on the right.

"How do I assess the folder condition"

Go to Programs | Summary. The Status column shows the current True/False evaluation of the Folder.

I assessed the condition of the folder and of each of the programs contained within the folder; all are false. Nevertheless, the programs run every day. I have no other programs that call these programs. I am at a loss. Any thoughts?

Check the last run time of one of the programs. Would that time make any difference to the folder conditions? What are the conditions on the folder for this program? Your original post is a bit vague in regard to the folder congitions. Did you use control or status?

The conditions for the folder to run are:

If

Control 'Kitchen KPLG (Wolf Creek is switched on)

Than

Allow the program in this folder to run.

KPLG is not on and the status for the folder and for each program is false. Nevertheless, the programs in the folder activate as programmed.

"If Control" should not be used as a Folder condition. If Control is looking at the command that is flowing from the KPL button. Should the Programs only execute when the KPL button is On use "If Status 'kplbutton' is On".

When I switch to Status for the KPL button, there is no ON option available. There is Responding, OFF and a percentage range of options. Why is the ON option not available?
