bretta
New to the forum, new to ISY. I was previously using Smarthome's Houselink software, which is pure crap. It does not properly control micro on/off modules, constantly changing their setup, without reporting the change. Anyway, now they work just fine. However, I have one, buried in a box, up high, of course, that is connected to a standard toggle switch. It is functioning perfectly from that switch. Also, the module is reacting to 2 different Switchlinc units correctly. However, I'd like to set it up so the standard toggle switch will initiate a controller signal to turn on not only the connected micro on/off module and it's load, but an entire scene. I've searched through the ISY admin console and can't seem to work out how to change the setting to make the micro on/off module a controller. Thanks for any thoughts. Link to comment
Xathros
I believe all you need to do is remove it from whatever scene that you want it to control then add it back to the scene and select "Make controller" during the add to scene process. This will work as long as it is not controlling another scene already. -Xathros Link to comment
