Hi Everyone,

We are very happy to announce our Android update for MobiLinc, MobiLinc 2.0! We've overhauled the user interface to make it more modern as well as added new features like Z-Wave support, more icons, new program favorite options and more! The update is rolling out to the Google Play servers today and should be available to everyone over the next 24 hours.

If you purchased MobiLinc from the MobiLinc Store, to update go to MobiLinc->My Settings->Check for Updates.

What's New:

Major update: Massive user interface overhaul to modernize MobiLinc!

Other Features added in 2.0:

Added ISY Z-Wave Support

Added option to favorite just one program command

Added icon selection ability to programs

Added additional device/scene/program ICONs

Added support for Emeter and DRLC Events

Bug Fixes:

FIXED - Dimming a device under 10% causes it to go ON

FIXED - Tasker Dim commands

FIXED - Tasker/Widget commands to multiple profiles

Other Misc Bug Fixes

What's Next for MobiLinc (Android): Variables and the new Weather changes didn't make it into our final 2.0.0 release. With our massive UI update and other features now complete and released we are immediately transitioning to supporting variables and the new weather updates. Watch this thread for release announcements. Thank you for your patience!

Let us know what you think of 2.0!

Woot! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

I cannot see the update yet - but you can bet I'll be checking. Looking good in the screens above.

Love the favoriting single program action - PERFECT for what I need. Once variables are done, I'll be a VERY happy camper again.

Did you manage to fix the compatibility/coexistence issue with LastPass as well? Also, is a dedicated Tablet UI in the works?

Hi MWareman,

Yes, it can take Google up to 24 hours to roll app updates out to all their servers. Hang in there and keep checking!

LastPass: Not yet, but this is on our list to investigate. It is not an obvious/easy root cause to find and thus fix.

Tablet UI: No active plans. I posted about the current state of Android tablets and how that factors into our decision process here: http://forum.mobilinc.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=451&sid=c48e9841ac63d199f7c9007a257fa68c

If you cant see it as an update yet.... if you go into the play store.... My Apps..... find Mobilinc... open it.... it will then give you the option to update it. Just trying the updated app now :-)

Just got it on my Nexus 7. Power sensors an 2 decimal points off...

My dryer is using 285.52 watts according to the ISY web interface, MobiLinc displays 28552% instead.. :P

Otherwise, looks awesome! Much more reactive in use.

Thanks again.

Thanks Michael. We already have an Aeon on order to test/implement against. MobiLinc/iOS has the same issue with Z-Wave power meters. We'll get it looked at.

I have the same problem...all my energy usuage reports as %... im using aeon labs plug in modules and aeon labs inwall switches/dimmers

Got the update on my Nexus 5. Bad news, when I tap any device, mobilinc crashes. After the 4th device, my phone rebooted. :-o

My disabling of LastPass auto fill for MobiLinc got undone with the upgrade for some reason.

If you use LastPass, make sure you set MobiLinc in LastPass to 'Do not show fill window' again.....

Looks really good and more polished. The new icons are great! It seems faster updating, but only tested on LAN so far. Sliders right on main list screens are nice.

Self updated automagically.

Suggestions:

- Could still use an icon for a basic table lamp, a wall lamp, a doorbell (probably an iron bell would work for multi apps.), and a motion detector (person walking by with some waves?). Edit:Battery symbol!

- Device vertical spacing could be a little tighter to get more than 4-5 on my phone. (Statuses could be on the right for screen economy.)

Thanks! Keep up the great work!

Wes,

Looks great! My phone updated on it's own and I was totally surprised to see it out! Thanks,

Would like to see more icons and I can't wait for the variables to be released

Great Job!!!

I'm loving the new look. I can update program icons! It definitely looks like it belongs on my Nexus 4. Also agree that the new icons are nice.

Looking forward to updated weather and variable support.

Thanks,

However, my ZWave thermostat is not showing up.

You might need to resync MobiLinc with your ISY and/or create a new profile. If 1.x MobiLinc had already pulled down your Thermostat and the ISY was upgraded to the latest firmware where you had to remove and renroll your Z-Wave devices, it's highly likely that the ZWave devices received new ID numbers which will throw off the MobiLinc caching. It's best to remove the old profile in MobiLinc and create a new one. Go to Settings->Active Profiles and Long Press to create a new Profile.

Has the update been sent to us poor fools in BlackBerry World too?

We're working on it and hope to have it submitted today.

door sensors and garage door sensors are no longer displayed in my device list

We can't think of a reason why these wouldn't appear unless they were hidden in MobiLinc or disabled in the ISY. We haven't been able to duplicate this report here. Try creating a new profile in MobiLinc under Settings->Active Profiles (long press to create a new profile) and resync. See if that fixes the issue.

Wes,

I tried a resync last night but it didn't help. However, when I got up this morning my thermostat was showing.

I created a new profile and resync but it did not change. the door sensors still do not show up under my devices.

fyi... these are z wave sensors. they did show up under the older version of mobilinc.

I then uninstalled mobilinc and then reinstalled. but same results.

I am using the sensors to trigger lights to come on shut off. so the sensors are working on isy994

Any other ideas would be appreciated...thanks

Thanks saninberg,

I suspect what's happening is the Z-Wave door sensors are being reported to MobiLinc as a type MobiLinc doesn't recognize. I've reached out to UDI for more info.

Hi tellefson5623,

Here's what to do to troubleshoot:

- Reboot your Android device.

- Reboot the ISY.

- Verify you see status in the ISY's Admin Console from a PC/MAC.

- Open MobiLinc and see if your device status appears.

- If not, go to MobiLinc->My Settings->Lighting Controller->Sync.

- If status still does not appear after syncing, please delete and reinstall MobiLinc.
