I recently tried adding two more motion detectors however every time I get and error that ISY couldn't determine the engine. I read online that I should set my modem and the wireless receptor next to each other. I did this but it doesn't seem to work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
larryllix Posted July 17, 2014 Share Posted July 17, 2014 Battery operate devices need to be put into "setup mode" or they will not respond to requests from ISY. Usually this takes an extended button press until the LED flashes and/or the device beeps. Don't forget to always factory reset your new devices when you first use them.
