Multiple lamps into one lamplinc

Featured Replies

Haven't tried this yet so I thought I ask: can one plugin say 2 or 3 lamps into one lamplinc? On x10 you could not because it sensed a lamp turn on locally and multiple would mess up it's ability to sense things.

These are dedicated lamps with no local turn on so they'd be on all the time.

Any thoughts?

That would be the same as one Lamp with multiple bulbs.

You could have more than one load on the X10 Modules. If you didn't want to use the Local Control Sensing feature.

The Lamplincs should be fine with more than one lamp on them. If you had the optional Local Control Enabled on them. Then toggling one lamps local switch Off and back On would be missed.

One thing you may see. If they are dimmable LED bulbs in the lamps. Some may dim or brighten more compared to the rest on the Lamplinc at a specific dim level.

They are just halogens that worked great with x10 (although 3 modules for 3 lamps). There would be no local control on the lamp itself or even access to the lamplinc as it's behind a bookcase. Totally controlled by remote.
