easytim Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) I'm having a problem with my new ISY994/IR the red light flashes error and will not goaway after I cycle the power, the red error light still goes into blinking. I tried a new 12vdc power supply, thinking maybe noise was causing the problem, but no luck with this either Please advise what you may think it could be, Thank You Edited October 1, 2014 by easytim
LeeG Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 If Err is only blinking LED power off the unit and check the SD card to be sure it is seated correctly. if Mem and Err blinking the ISY cannot connect to the Ethernet network.
guedesluz Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 and if I got POWER, RX and TX blue led ON STEADY.. and ERROR RED LED BLINKING? What is it?
guedesluz Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Thanks Techman... I saw this table but any of the cases listed refers to my case. The closest is the FILE SYSTEM ERROR. I'm gonna try this steps and see what happens...
Techman Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Also check your cables to make sure they are properly seated and in the correct ports
guedesluz Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 oh yes.. I did that.. I also changed the ISY by a new one and it's working... Seems it is the ISY System Error... gonna reset the SD Card and see if it solve....
Michel Kohanim Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Hi guedesluz, Ok, please do keep us posted. With kind regards, Michel
guedesluz Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Great... it's back.. I just took out the SD Card.. after some tries I could format it on my desktop... Re-inserted it in Isy and it became working again.. I followed the instructions, updated to 4.2.18 and its working.. Thanks
Brian H Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 If you had problem with formatting the SD card. You may have an SD card that is marginal.
guedesluz Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Yes.. I'm just waiting to see how long this SD Card will survive. For sure I'll need to change it soon...
