"Add Device" doesn't find linked devices

I've just fired up a new ISY99i IR PRO (updated to latest firmware, 2.6.7), and I'm trying to get my configuration loaded into it. I did an "add device" for a 2414U PLC (which knows about all my other devices), selected "Add devices found in links...", and it spun for a while, seeming to find a few devices, then quit after about 30%. No devices other than the PLC show up in the main window. If I try to re-run the add device, nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I going to have to manually enter all my devices?

Thanks -

Hello Denis,

First of all, you are not doing anything wrong. The only issue is that for ISY to find devices in a PLC, the PLC should have the same type of memory map as PLMs or other INSTEON devices. The next best alternative is to retry the same method but this time start from a regular switch that has the most number of links to other devices in your house.

Please do keep us posted.

With kind regards,

Michel
