INSTEON 2843-222 Wireless Open/Close Sensor

Featured Replies

Seems odd the jumper isn't shown in either manual?

Jon...

That depends on the age of the sensor. Revisions 1.9 and later do not have the jumper.

It also doesn't matter right now because UDI and Smartlabs hasn't provided the support via software to enable this feature! I've only been asking for this support for over a year now . . .

QSG showing jumper. It's also shown in the Owner's Manual for earlier revisions.

I was using the manuals under Smarthome listing for 2843-222.

I see now though...

Thanks,

Jon...

Actually the jumper is shown in both manuals... it's just not indicated.

Anyway.. just popped the lid on my only 2843-222 and it doesn't have the jumper.  4114 rev 1.B (manufactured 41st week of 2014)

You also can't enable two node support until such time as UDI / Smartlabs offers it via software.

Well isn't that the ongoing saga between UDI and Smartlabs?  Seems UDI has a difficult time getting what they need out of Smartlabs.
