New ISY994 Z-Wave Brick?

Featured Replies

I just bought another ISY994 Z-wave but all I get when I log into it is this screen.  No menu items and I can't see where I could ever upload any firmware to it.  Any ideas.  Its brand new never used.  Cannot get past the first screen.  Thanks

I think I have seen this in my past, but recall that it was unrelated to a failed ISY.  My vague recollection is that this was a failed PLM, or disconnected PLM, or bad cable, or something like that.

Fastbird1,

It appears you are using a link that brings up a shell of the admin console but you are never connected to actually populate it with info.

Please use the following link to access the admin console. http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.2.22/admin.jnlp

If you continue to have issues then please send me an email to support@universal-devices.com If you provide your phone number I can call you as well.

Regards,

Thanks Steve - that was it.  I had found that the link that I used that came with the instructions only got me as far as the page I showed you (shell).  But when I found out what IP address was assigned to the ISY and used that, I got the menus.  In the shell - it was not asking me for a password.
