msplain Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 After booting the memory LED on the font panel of my new ISY994i constantly blinks. I had a few "platform error" message popups so I looked in the error log. What I see is an endless stream of "Check Log" messages with no other information. I have tried factory reset, re-install firmware and numerous other things but no matter what I do I can't stop what appear to be endless empty writes to the error log. I am starting to think this device has some kind of fault and needs to be returned. The firmware version is 4.2.18. The configuration is the factory default with a 2413S PLM connected to the ISY. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Michel Kohanim Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Hi msplain, Sometimes is trying to hack into your ISY. Please go to event viewer, change the level to 3, wait for 5 minutes then review your error log to see the source IP of the hacker. With kind regards, Michel
msplain Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 After 10 minutes there is no activity reported in the event viewer. It shows one line with the time and nothing else.
msplain Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 I then disconnected the WAN connection from my router. This had no effect. My final test was to disconnect the ISY from the network. The memory light continues to flash quickly and in addition the red error light now flashes slowly.
