Blackbird Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Is it possible to make the dimmers beep by using a program? If so how? Thanks
stusviews Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Beep is available from the option box to the right of the device (along with on, off, etc.)
Blackbird Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Beep is available from the option box to the right of the device (along with on, off, etc.) Are you referring to "beep duration"?
Blackbird Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) Doesn't work for me If Control 'Back Porch Light' is switched On Then Set 'Outside Lights' 13 (Beep Duration) Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Edited February 22, 2015 by Blackbird
LeeG Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 What is the dimmer name/number and firmware? I have many KeypadLincs that do not have Beep feature. Also the Beep is not very loud.
LeeG Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 My 2477D SwitchLinc Dimmer at hardware 7.6, firmware v.44 Beeps. Can you post the Program as well as an Event Viewer trace at LEVEL 3 showing the Beep command.
Blackbird Posted February 25, 2015 Author Posted February 25, 2015 I was able to only get it to beep one time not the 13 times I set it for
lilyoyo1 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 You need to add a repeat. The duration is not for how many times its supposed to beep
Blackbird Posted February 25, 2015 Author Posted February 25, 2015 You need to add a repeat. The duration is not for how many times its supposed to beep aaahhh, ok what is the duration for?
LeeG Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Duration is not yet supported by SwitchLinc or Keypad
stusviews Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 aaahhh, ok what is the duration for? Duration is how long something lasts.
