Old Links Die Hard

I have a regular insteon paddle dimmer that I was using as a three-way switch for a set of hallway lights.

I have since removed it from its original location, factory reset it, and then installed it in a different location to control a completely different set of lights.

However, whenever I manually press "on" or "off," it not only controls the new set of lights I want it to control, but it also is controlling the old set of lights too.

I tried removing the device a few times from ISY and reprogramming it via ISY. I have ensured there are no extraneous programs that could be allowing the undesired lights to still be controlled.

I tried factory reset and "restore device" a few times and it still happens.

Any ideas on how to remedy this situation?

To be involved in a three way configuration (2 switches cross-linked) both devices had links pointing to each other. It sounds like the links in the remaining device were not deleted so it is still responding to the initial Group Broadcast message from the device that was moved.

Sounds like the devices were manually linked together so the ISY had no record of what to delete when the switch was removed. Factory reset the remaining switch and do a Restore Device.
