pinkfish Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Wondering if this is supported or not? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P1N68FW Looks pretty nifty, able to control the colour of a rgbw led strip light and doing this via zwave. Does the isy support this device at all? How hard is it to add support for unsupported zwave devices? Thanks! David.
Michel Kohanim Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Hi David, Not yet, but shortly. With kind regards, Michel
rahnee Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 This would be a fantastic add Michel! I've been looking for an LED controller that could integrate with ISY. I was hoping for something via wifi so I did not have to worry about range however all the devices are proprietary. LTech has some great controllers but they only work with their apps...perhaps you could talk to them to open their API so that the ISY could communicate with the network module. Here is their contact info. pinkfish Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Brilliant! I might see about getting one then. Sounds like it will show up as a dimmer initially and you can control the colours later?
gapon0 Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Hi David, Not yet, but shortly. With kind regards, Michel hello, just wondering first request was on 2014 for support Fibaro RGBW controller, now 2016 no result for support, WHY?
schubert Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I have one of these as well and yes it seems that while the on/off is supported (although the energy meter functionality doesn't seem to work and fast on/fast off seems to actually dim on/off), the color support is not. I guess the question is - 2 years ago the answer was "Not yet, but shortly." So is it actually supported now2 years later? Is only the basic on/off functionality supported or is there way to get the full RGB color control? This isn't a new zwave device at this point. Thanks.
schubert Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Actually better yet - point people to this thread: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/12977-fibaro-rgbw-controller/
