smokegrub
Is it technically feasible/possible for an ISY to control a device on another ISY? For example, could a door sensor on one ISY control an I/O Linc on another ISY? Link to comment
LeeG
Not directly. However with some application in between it is certainly possible. ISY 1 has a Program that monitors the Door Sensor. It could send a REST command with the Network module to ISY 2 to control an I/O Linc Relay. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi LeeG, thank you. Hi smokegrub, With the introduction of 5.0, an ISY can be a node server and thus all its nodes immediately available in another ISY. 5.0 alpha should be out today (hopefully; we keep finding bugs). The ISY node server is not in our first release but definitely tested and working. Just need to debug a little more before releasing. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
smokegrub
That sounds great, Michel. I hope the upgrade to 5.0 for those of us who are Mac/Yosemite users will be seamless. I have yet to upgrade to the most recent release because of some reported Mac issues. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi smokegrub, If you are not a developer, I do not recommend playing with 5.0 (just released today) as of yet. The upgrade should be seamless. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment

With kind regards, Michel The upgrade, just like all previous, went without a hitch on my MAC running Yosemite. -Xathros Link to comment
