My ISY seems busy quite a bit of the time

quite a bit of the time that I am trying to run programs or do things, the system takes a long time to reply.  While I was working on some programs tonight, this popped up a few times:

the address that it shows, 1C 8C 74, is that of a keypadlinc

any ideas as to what might help this problem?

It's possible that you have a loop in one of your programs that's using up the resources or a communication problem with the KPL. I  would try disabling the Keypad in the ISY to see if the problem goes away. Did you add or change any programs just before the problem cropped up?

Is there any easy way to disable the keypad? I looked to see if there are any programs running and there are a few but they don't use any devices, they are mostly running a wait program.

To disable the keypad right click on the device then click disable. This removes it from the ISY. You can reverse this action by right clicking on the device and then click on enable.

Okay, thank you for the help Techman.

What does "ST 255" mean in my attached photo, by the way?

"ST 255" is "Status 255" which means the button (5) is on.   For a dimmer, the range is 0-255 (where 0=off, 255= full on/100%, something in the middle is a percentage), for an on/off, it's either 0 (off) or 255 (on).

You can also watch your program status list and see if "Last run" is updating a lot for some programs.
