Climate Module VS irrigation module

I just put in a EZflora.  I have no current rain sensor.  I was looking to get a module so I can use the data and have it schedule my waterings.

Do I need both?
What are the differences?
Thank

The EZFlora will water on schedule no matter the weather. A rain sensor will delay the schedule if it rains. But, the rain sensor is useless if it has nothing to control.

That's why both the irrigation and climate modules are required for proper irrigation (which will both conserve water and avoid over-watering).

I'm trying to program my EZFlora to only water when needed. I have both the climate and irrigation modules. I'm currently using the value "Irrigation Reqt". However, I notice that this value slowly increases every day without ever decreasing. Is there a better value to key off?

Is the Irrigation command

Irrigation - Cycle Complete

being used to indicate amount of water applied when EZFlora Program complete?

No. Do I just run this one time after all stations have completed?

Yeah, and you need to have the amount of water applied correct-ish since it'll lop that amount off of the amount of watering required.
