cauding
Since in the EU the ISY994i can't work with INSTEON, I was suggested to use Z-Wave instead. However, it seems that the "Z" module won't work with EU devices. Is it correct? Link to comment
stusviews
That's true. The Z-wave frequency in the US is 902MHz to 928MHz.. Z-Wave in Europe usess 868.0MHz to 868.6MHz. Link to comment
Brian H
You will find the same differences in RF frequencies for different locations in the world. Like Insteon RF and X10 RF frequencies are different for other locations of the world. That is one thing to remember if trying to use a device from another country with some modules for your country. Michel Kohanim
Hi cauding, That's true: we do not have an EU version of Z-Wave dongle simply because we do not have that many customers in EU. We had some AU/NZ versions which are being used. The only differences are: 1. Z-Wave chip for EU 2. Firmware for EU (it will be done automatically in 4.3.18+ firmware when you change the territory) We are currently working on getting IC for Canada. If we have more demand for EU, we'll definitely build more. I am so sorry. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
