Any support for ezuirt

Hello me23,

I would agree. I do feel the pain SHN must be feeling being dependent on the PLM from SH as we are having a hell of a time supporting anything SHN as soon as SH comes up with new PLM firmware. It's truly sad.

With kind regards,

Michel

Oh, that's too bad. It's a much superior unit to the IRLinc.

Since EZUIRT is not supported, is there any way to send Insteon signals and generate IR commands? This is the missing link so that our home theater can be used when i am not home or busy.

Thanks.

I understand that having the ability to receive and/or transmit IR codes isn't supported, but is there at least minimal support of the device? For example, I don't mind manually linking with an IR code, but I would need to have the ISY trigger if certain groups are linked.

If there is absolutely no way for the ISY to even perform basic trigger support with the EZUIRT, then I cannot justify the purchase.

Gentstr,

Unfortunately we do not have any plans whatsoever in supporting EZUIRT. We shall support IRLinc Transmitter though in our release 3.0.

With kind regards,

Michel

Is EZUIRT still a no go?

My EZUIRT and IR remotes are an integral part of my Insteon system and I was really disheartened to find it not supported after purchasing my ISY.

Is there at least a way to get the links into the ISY database so they aren't overwritten?

Look into a Global Cache iTach IP2IR device (or WiFi2IR) It sits on your network, and will transmit IR signals in response to IP commands.

You can use the NETWORK RESOURCES in the ISY to send the IP commands.

It takes a bit of work to set up, but it works well.
