Install a wireless Insteon thermostat in the remote location. Use the ISY to read the temperature of the remote thermostat. Access the HTML interface from the iPad using Safari.

You can use any sensor that you can add tot he ISY.

Thank you for help to understand,  I have another question maybe you can help also.   I have ventilation system/ air conditioner  that has fan with 3 speed, with 3 wires for speed,  how I can control it, is it normall Insteon thermostat has 3 speed fan, and relay for it or I should put separate relay to control speed?  thank you. also that fan not 110v, it is 220v. need solution.

What are all the specific devices that are part of you HVAC system? Brand? Model?

hello, just find some picture from fan coil, it is regular fan coil device that has fan with 3 speed, so 4 wires, neutral and 3 loads, 220v. So I need solution how control it for ventilation and for heating or cooling,  so need to control it from thermostat insteon or any another, but don't know how. thank you for any advise

How do you currently control the speed of the fan?

hello, some how I miss your respond. that is another issue I need use probably just any relay as insteon or zwave to control speed,   and I am stuck with remote sensor, so I installed multisensor 6 in the room, so which thermostat can reed temperature from the sensor.

Yes - the suggestion is to get a thermostat.  It's the right tool for the job.  Yes, we understand that you have a multisensor, and it has a temperature sensor in it.  However, a thermostat does a lot more than just read temperatures, and that's where you're getting stuck on this thread -- all those other "bits" are hard to do.

By analogy, I have several bicycle wheels in my garage.  I want an automobile to drive to work this winter.  But I don't want to buy one, because I already have four bicycle wheels, and all I want is to know how to put the rest of the car on top of those wheels.  Clearly there's a lot more to making a car than just four wheels.

And there's a lot more to a thermostat than a temperature sensor.

So just buy a thermostat, and be happy!  The right tool for the right job.
