Change 2334-232 (6 button) to 2334-222 (8 button)

I'd like to change a six button keypad to an eight button keypad. Is the best way to do it inside the ISY Admin console to just delete it and then add it back? Are there any hazards to watch out for (i.e. like the problem reported when changing RemoteLinc2 number of keys)?
