Update ZWave device firmware

It would be really keen if zwave devices could get firmware updates from the ISY.

In looking at the latest firmware for the multisensor, it looks like 1.18 has been stable for a long time and maybe it will be the last upgrade anyway.

I would like to add my request to the one above to enable OTA firmware updates for ZWave devices.  I just got a Multisensor 6 and I can't updateits firmware unless I buy the dongle from Aeon.

We are looking into it. At the moment, I very much doubt this can be done with 4.55 Z-Wave library that we are using (not installer).

Is this likely not happening? Only asking because Homeseer just released a stand-alone upgrading dongle that's $20 off this week. I'd rather not own it because it means I'll have to install Windows on something, but $20 is almost half of a new switch

I was following this thread to see if you guys will someday release a new resource to enable OTA firmware update or not. Could you end this thread telling us YES or NO to this feature in the future? Than I can proceed and purchase a Z-wave stick.

Eventually yes but we are so backlogged that I do not know when that would be. We already have our 500 series dongle working alas we have to make major changes to support S2. Just so much to do and so little time.

I'm also interested in firmware upgrades as well. Like my colleagues I have a good a bunch of aEOTech zwave devices and a smaller number of GE.

If this is not on the 12 month roadmap, can you direct us to any guidance in how to have the zwave stick coexist with ISY so we don't damage the ISY Zwave setup? Thanks!

I just received my AEON Stick and the question for me now is how to add a device to the stick without damage the link already done with my ISY.. Can someone tell me if I can pair my multisensor to ISY then to my Zwave stick for firmware update and keep the network stored on ISY?

+1 for desiring firmware updates from ISY. 

(I just purchased an aeotec Multisensor 6, and it has a bug out of the box (with parameter 41) that I need a firmware update to fix. It kind of rubs me the wrong way to have to buy a Zstick to do this.)
