Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk Havent hardwired mine, but I have a few in high use areas and haven't seen battery issues. That being said did you turn off the LED option? That may help. I also use Eneloop rechargeable batteries. One in and always have a charged as backup. I havent noticed an difference using alkaline vs rechargeable. Also in options check your low battery checkin time and maybe move it to 12 or 24 hours? Just a few ideas to try. Hope it helps.

stusviews Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Rechargeable batteries don't last nearly as long as standard batteries, so you'll definitely save $$, but you'll be changing batteries more often. I've had luck (long life) using lithium ion batteries.
