someguy Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 My understanding is that houselinc 2 is able to modify the off-timer for the skylink 2420 insteon motion sensor. Can the ISY-99i do this? if so, how? if not, when will it be able to do so and what is the best work-around?
Michel Kohanim Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Hello someguy, Yes, you can do it in ISY releases 2.6.12/13: 1. Click on one of the motion sensor nodes 2. In the right pane, at the bottom, you see a button called Set Options With kind regards, Michel My understanding is that houselinc 2 is able to modify the off-timer for the skylink 2420 insteon motion sensor. someguy Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 I tried this and it didn't work. here is where I suspect that most of the discussion about this will be: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... 4453#14453
Michel Kohanim Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Hello someguy, For clarification, you should also know that Motion Sensor is an RF device which goes to sleep mode. The only way you can communicate with RF devices that go to sleep mode is to put them into programming mode. As such, you will have to first click the set button on the MS till the light starts blinking and then retry. With kind regards, Michel I tried this and it didn't work. here is where I suspect that most of the discussion about this will be: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... 4453#14453
