jgcharlotte
I added a smart bulb to several of my scenes that were controlled by a RemoteLinc 2. Put the RL2 in linking mode, dragged the bulb into the scenes. They turned off and on just fine from the RL2, but the new bulbs would not respond to ramp rate and dim settings in the scene. I deleted the RL2 buttons from the scenes, re-installed them and now it all works fine. It doesn't seem like that should be necessary. Has anyone else experienced this? Link to comment
paulbates
I don't have a direct explanation, but yes, updating existing scenes sometimes requires devices to removed and added back. I noticed this kind of behavior on homeseer as well, so my observation is that its insteon related. Link to comment
LeeG
jgcharlotte That is odd since the Bulb Scene On Level and Scene Ramp Rate are values stored in the Bulb, not the RemoteLinc2. Did you click on the ISY Scene name or the RemoteLinc2 Red Controller name below the ISY Scene name to access the Bulb On Level and Bulb Ramp Rate? Link to comment
jgcharlotte
I don't recall exactly, but I think I did, and I don't recall the outcome LOL. I replaced an old LampLinc in that same scene and had the same behavior. Maybe I'll try again with another one, since I was having a lot of trouble with that LampLinc. Link to comment
