I have heard many Androidians complain about flakey geofence operation.

iPeople seems to have better luck with it.

Hi jwarner964,

It sounds like there are two different issues happening:

1. If the variable is changing from 0 to 1 or 1 to a 0, but the program isn't firing, then I would double-check the program logic. You can test your program by manually setting the variable to a 1 or 0.

2. If the geo-fence notification fires, but the variable doesn't change, then this is an issue with the iPhone being able to communicate back to your ISY regarding the state change. There is a small window (10 seconds) that iOS gives to MobiLinc to make the connection and set the variable. If there's weak cell coverage at this time, then this variable update could be missed. Make sure you are running the latest iOS 9.x OS as Apple introduced a better way of handling weak Wi-Fi signals which greatly helped geo-fence updates when leaving your home.

Hi Wes

I haven't updated to latest software yet, I'll do that, the program always works when I change it manually this issue just started a month ago or so

Thanks for the reply
