Just a simple question... How do I force a return/enter or a line feed in a notification going to my phone email address

I want it like this:

Bedroom
TStat off
Date:2016/02/11
Time: 9:22:51 PM

it currently looks like this:
Bedroom TStat off Date:2016/02/11 Time: 9:22:51 PM

thanks,

Ed

Hello Ed,

All you need to do is type in the phrase and then select enter. The same way you just did it on this forum post obviously you need to ensure the blinking bar is where you expect it to be when you select enter.

Clear as mud?

Well, yah, that's what I would expect but it doesn't work. I'm sending to my T-Mobile email address and shows up as a text on my phone. I lose all formatting including carriage returns (pressing enter)

Hello Ed,

Can you provide a screen capture of the custom e-mail / sms in the Admin Console so we can see the current formatting?

see pics...

there are also some strange characters that show up... Not on all the txt's. ALso, after reviewing, it does work on some but not all notifications.

You picked html output format. Have you tried either plain text, or \n at the end of html lines?

Paul
