I installed a 2334-2 KeypadLinc Dimmer with 5 buttons.  I can find the KeypadLinc but not the buttons.  Are they hidden.  Or did I make a mistake when I added it to my system?

How can I correct this?

Thanks

Did you *right click mouse* and select group?

I right clicked on the HeypadLinc and got no place to select group.

1. Are you sure you added the KPL correctly? Can you let us know how you added the device?

2. Can you offer a screen shot of the KPL in the device tree?

Is there a box with a + to the left of the device? What information is at the top center when you select the device?

I added this some time ago.  When it didn't work I decided to wait until I had replaced my ISY-99i with an ISY-994i. I just made the swap.

I haven't worked with ISY for some time.  So, it's likely I didn't do this correctly.

Here's the screen print.

What are the other red devices?

  • Author

The other red devices are SwitchLincs I installed with the subject device.  They are part of my plan to improve the lighting in the master bathroom

Hi Joe,

I suspect you are running out of nodes. Can you please right mouse click | Delete on the KPL. If there are more buttons associated with it, you will see a dialog with a list of all the associated buttons. If you only have one, then continue with deletion and then link it again. If it only shows up with one button, then you need to upgrade to PRO (Help | Purchase Modules).

With kind regards,

Michel

I deleted 11 devices to see if it would change anything.  It didn't.

I deleted the Keypad and linked it back.  That brought out the buttons.

I have no idea why some of my devices in My Lighting are red.

I appreciate your helo.

Joe

Devices in red can be controllers. Devices in blue are responders only.

Joe

Making more nodes available by deleting devices would not make the missing KPL buttons appear.  Was necessary to Delete KPL and add it back to get all the KPL nodes.   I would count  the number of device nodes, folders and Scenes to see if max has been reached as Michel suggested.  Also that KPL level (v.44) being added on 3.3.10 could explain the node problem.
