Something Good to Say about Insteon com

This was surprising to me.

My city hookup is down by the street where I have the meter and 2 main panels which feed three subpanels in the house.  I have a workshop/garage which is attached to the house by a breezeway and was powered from those subpanels in the main house.  I wanted more power.  So I decided the best way to handle this was to run a new yard line since fishing wires through the house was going to be a lot more work (I already had conduits in the ground).  The distance is about 120 feet.  So now the panels at the street feed 4 subpanels.

Anyway, Insteon switches work just great out there even though the signal is going from the house, to the street and back out to the workshop.  The devices I have out there are not dual band, so it is making the journey through a surprising length of wire.

Another one up for Insteon. The signal probably would not make it if depended entirely on RF like some other HA protocols B)
