I just did a fresh install of windows 10 and java.  When I open the admin console, it asks for my login, I type it in and briefly I can see my scenes then the admin console closes.

Any idea what the problem is?

You could try adding ISY address to Java Security exception sites list.

I have several machines with Windows 10, so that's not the problem. Clear the Java cache. Reinstall the Admin Console.

I have three Windows 10 machines.  Two work, one doesn't and I haven't ever dug enough to figure out why the one doesn't work.

If you are using Windows 10 64 Bit version.

I have seen an independent X10 software programmer. Report some of his programs started acting strange with 64 bit and the last few updates.

Something about being over protective of some folders.

I had to clear my cache with all options for javs after win 10 install as per Stu above.

I'm not sure of my firmware until I can get into the ISY to see

You can install both 64 and 32 bit but the UI requires the 32 bit version.

I downloaded and installed the 32 bit version.  It is in my program 86 folder.  But it still doesn't work.  Only difference about this windows install besides windows 10 vs 8 is I am a user not an admin.  Before I just ran my user name as an Admin

How did you install Java without administrative permission?  I thought that was required?  Anyway.. why not log in as admin and see what happens?

I had to enter the admin password to install.  I did login as admin and had the same results.  I see my scenes for about 1 second then it closes

If your 32 bit install is correct then typically the closing of the admin console is related to spyware/antivirus.. see post #5
