Great! Thanks for letting me know... Hopefully, this should be the version I release as production.... I want to give it a couple of days to discover any caveats first.

Oops..  sorry. One more (build 88 - 0.6.7).

I found some performance improvements during launching the app - and some errors int he exit routing that were not cleaning up sessions properly - causing additional delay on relaunch. This is fixed now (hopefully!).

Additionally, there is now an option in setting where you can have the app exit after sending an 'Arm' or 'Disarm' command (but only if successful).

Another violation of my thought that the last version would be the initial release.

0.6.8 just pushed to Beta (build 92).

New feature: Now supports PIN entry required to arm system. If your Elk system is configured to require this - it can now be enabled on a profile basis.

No go on an update.

If I open either link in Play store, I go to the app and my choices are open or uninstall. If I follow either link in a browser I see the app with today's date and I would have to buy the app.

Similar here.  Confirmed as tester, but only a pay version available.

I missed one update, but since the morning after I posted I have received the new updates. Try again tomorrow morning.

Earlier - I released 1.0.0 (build 100 coincidentally) to production.. The only changes were cleanup of the exit routines - and removal of a redundant double network request.

Thank you to those that volunteered to be testers - I very much appreciate it. The code I sent you should continue working for you going forward. Please let me know if you have any issues getting 1.0. I would appreciate a review if you're finding the app helpful!

@ncoig, earlier in the process I was providing codes for getting the app for free to those that PMd me. Unfortunately, I had to choose pay or free before uploading the app - and Google do not let me change from free to paid. So, it's possible in the future I may adjust the price, for the moment it's set. Google do let you try the app for 2 hours and get the cost refunded if it does not work for you (from the developer side - it does not charge until 2 hours after install).

Michel has offered to create a separate forum for questions regarding this app - so once that's created we'll move further discussion there.

Thanks again!

1.0.1 (build 107) has been uploaded for testers. I'm going to give it a few days for feedback - then promote to production.

Changes are:

Adjustable font sizes (in case text on buttons are too small or large)

Allow a long-press everywhere - instead of ignoring it (unless you turned on long-press required)

The ability to require a long press if you don't have 'Require PIN on arm' set - but not need a long-press for disarm (or if you have 'Require PIN on arm' set)

Received update this evening. Install went fine and while I haven't had to arm/disarm yet, I did run thru all the settings and screens and all seems fine.

Thank you! I did discover another couple of things - there is one field on the settings screen that is not adjusting its font size, and the app double-refreshes when not on wifi - both are fixed in an updated 1.0.1 I'll be pushing later tonight (hopefully).

I 'Arm Night Instant' every night, and 'Arm Away' whenever I leave - but then I wrote it...

What happens when you try to arm in other modes? Does your Elk require a PIN to arm in other modes?

Has anyone been able to arm their system remotely to anything other than STAY mode using this app?

I helped to test this app when Michael was developing it and I repeatedly tested every arming mode. All function fine with good communications.

Michael,

Thanks so much for creating this app! It was easy to set up, and it works very well. I particularly love how it will automatically switch from a local connection to the portal on the fly. This is a great feature, and I really wish MobiLinc would incorporate this.

I have one small suggestion. I think it would be great if the status box at the top of the screen changed colors to indicate the current state. This way, you could easily tell at a glance if the system was armed (red) or disarmed (green).  8)

I like the color suggestion. I had initially intended that the color be closer to the Elk keypad LCD.

I'll see if I can incorporate this as an option, so you can enable it if you want to. It may get a little complex though accounting for all the armed and partial states. There are many combinations!

I've just end an email to the people that volunteered to be Alpha testers early in the process. Now that the app is live, I've needed to re-jig the test plan and as such I'll need you to opt-in for the beta at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.wareman.ha if you want to continue getting test versions. I'll be doing initial function tests at Alpha - and I don't want to break your installs if I can help it! Truthfully, there likely won't be much latency between beat and production since these are small incremental updates now.

I'm nearing readiness of a color option in the app. 'Green Only' vs 'By State'. Only three states though - Green is disarmed, ready to arm. Red is armed. Yellow is not ready - could be in the process of arming, a zone could be open etc.

However, on the product page, someone has written a review saying 'Worked great until recently Now I can no longer access isy portal'. I have asked for more detail - but this user has not reached out to me to provide ay further details. I've been unable to reproduce any issues using the ISY Portal myself - so I'm lost.  I really want to help this user if they are having difficulty, but without them getting back to me there is not much I can do. It really sucks to have a 1 star review up there for no reason..

Ideally, this reviewer would reach out to me so I could address their issue as well.... if the reviewer is on the forum PLEASE get in touch with me so I can help!

Thank you,

Michael.
