Suddenly can't log into the Alexa app ....

Is anyone else experience problems logging into the Alexa app on their phone? Mine seems like it's stuck in some kind of a loop. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, but it didn't help.

Update:

I fixed it. I logged out of my Amazon account on my phone, and then deleted the cache on the Alexa app. I then logged back in, and it magically worked. :)

I had the issue and finally discovered that my date setting on my iPad was set to manual and not automatic. Fixing that setting fixed the problem

On the Alexa app, enabling access to other apps such as Jinvoo Smart requires "account linking."  This means that you will be prompted for either a phone number or an email address plus a password.  When you install the app, it will accept the email and pw that you use on Amazon.  It never asks for another.  For me, when trying to do "account linking," the Amazon UN and PW don't work on the iPhone app, the Kindle app, or the website.  I'm rejected by all three.  I've tried all the other suggestions to no effect.  I tried reinstalling the iPhone app.  That went through without a hitch using my Amazon credentials.  But still no luck with the "account linking" drill.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  I've got new devices that I can't access with Alexa.

Assuming you are already logged in to the app, you should never have to input your amazon credentials in order to link a skill. Whenever you are trying to link a skill to your account, it is most likely asking for credentials that pertain to that particular skill.  I took a look at Jinvoo Smart Home and their linking page is very misleading (lacks a sign up, or really any info...), but it looks like you need to get the Jinvoo Smart app separately, create an account, and then use those newly created credentials (in this case, number/pw) on the skill linking page.
