Mark Sanctuary Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Confirmed it’s in 2.4.9 - INSTEON address is now shown on the Device View next to Device Type - Now, the same on level and ramp rate can be applied to all the devices within a scene - Clicking on 'New Folder', now uses 'New Folder' as default name instead of 'New Program'. - 'My Lighting' now included in drop down lists - Fix for non-toggle buttons. An event occurs whenever a button is pressed (i.e. not just when the current value of the button changes) - Node combo boxes widened to accommodate long names - Copy readable contents of program to clipboard - Copy program - Program tree has popup menu - Fix for null references to programs and nodes within a program - Fix for intermittent save/delete program errors (I am now able to edit migrated programs and save them so I am guessing that this is the fix for that.) Not sure about - Configuration fix for Relay devices; now allows Fast On/Off etc. (I built a program for my switch which I know is relay driven and still no Fast On/Fast Off. Plus shouldn’t Fast On/Off buttons show up in the "relay device view" too?) Not tested - Schedule migration no longer turns lights Off instead of On - Fix for box hanging when deleting all contents of a folder and the folder itself - Fixed not being able to change the userid/password - Removing devices from a scene, left residue and in some cases the device would still respond to commands from the scene it previously belonged to Quote
Michel Kohanim Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Mark, Thank you so very much. We'll check into the fast on/off issue. But, since relays don't have ramp rates, I am not sure how much sense it makes to have both: they do the same exact thing. Mark Sanctuary Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 The fast on/fast off gives you a second option for that switch even though it does not have any function for its load. Quote
Sub-Routine Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Mark, Thank you so very much. We'll check into the fast on/off issue. But, since relays don't have ramp rates, I am not sure how much sense it makes to have both: they do the same exact thing. Regards, With kind regards, Michel Michel, Relay switches send the same commands as dimmer switches. Press and hold to send bright/dim commands, double-clicks send fast on/offs, etc. The relays can be used to control dimmers. I am using a few as no-load controllers for dimmers. From the bit of experimenting I have done with the new (2.4.9) programs I am missing the fast on/off and dim/bright for scenes. Also something has to be done about device levels only being set to one of 11 levels, Insteon dimmer devices have 256 levels. Scenes should be used instead, I know that. Thank you, Rand Quote
Chris Jahn Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 This was fixed for 2.4.9, but I suppose we may have missed some relay devices. This should be working for togglelinc, switchlinc, and keypadlinc relay devices. Can you please post the relay devices you have where 'Fast On'/'Fast Off' etc. is not being shown as part of a 'Control' condition. I'll make sure the 'Fast On'/'Fast Off' etc. that is missing for the scenes is added for the next drop. I'm not sure what we can do right away to get all 256 levels available in the programs, but its on the requirements list. Quote
Mark Sanctuary Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 All four of them are ( 2876S Icon On/Off Switch v.28 ) switches. Quote
Chris Jahn Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Thanks Mark, I'll be sure its added for the next drop. Quote
Mark Sanctuary Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 I guess it’s a brain issue with me; they are there in the Control condition now. If Control 'Outside Front Porch' is Fast On And Control 'Outside Front Porch' is Fast Off And Control 'Outside Front Porch' is Brighten And Control 'Outside Front Porch' is Dim Quote
