Holiday Lighting Disable Feature.

I have many insteon devices both inside/outside that are dedicated to holiday lighting. I take switchlinc's and build them into a outdoor enclosure for outside lighting and use lamplinc's inside. That said...

Now that all is packed up away in boxes, ISY complains that it cannot communicate with these devices any longer. Back in the homeseer times, I would just remove them from my events page but leave them in as a device..since they were not linked to anything but the PLM itself for status. So I've done the same in ISY --- disabled the "Holiday" program but I get errors everytime I log into the ISY about not being able to communicate with XXX device. I assume this is because of the 3AM polling program.

It would be nice to disable a device without removing them... And if the ISY link table shows it's linked to other devices besides the PLM, remove those links and provide a warning... When it's re-enabled, remember you removed those links from other devices and re-add them.

Short of disabling the 3AM query, which I hate to do --- but deleting and adding the devices every year also isn't fun.

Thanks,

Brian

Hello Brian,

Thanks so very much. This is a highly requested feature which we are working on and it shall be included in one of our future releases (hopefully soon).

With kind regards,

Michel
